Moroccan Chicken Livers

This Moroccan chicken livers recipe is so simple, delicious and packed full of nutrition!

Livers are naturally rich in high quality amino acids, fat, B vitamins (particularly B12), CoQ10, choline, minerals (particularly iron), and fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D and K).

Liver is also extremely high in natural vitamin A, which is crucial for your health. Liver is one of the most nutritionally dense foods in existence.

  • 500g fresh chicken livers
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 whole tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Simply throw all the ingredients into a wok or frying pan and cook on a medium/high heat until the chicken livers are done.
  2. Season to taste.
  3. Serve with a squeeze of lime & fresh coriander
