Green Juice-Smoothie

What’s a juice-smoothie you ask? Well, the name is pretty self-explanatory… you start out by making a fresh vegetable juice then use this as the base for a smoothie. This recipe is a low carb, nutrient dense, green juice-smoothie that will help kick your health into high gear!

(Low Carb, Paleo, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Sugar Free)

Juice Ingredients:

  • 3 handfuls spinach
  • 6 kale leaves
  • 4 celery stalks
  • ½ cucumber
  • ½ lemon
  • ¼ cup parsley

Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 cup coconut water

*Optional Extras: 1 scoop unflavoured pure whey protein & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. Juice all juice ingredients then pour into a blender
  2. Add in smoothie ingredients then blend all until smooth
  3. Enjoy immediately
