Vitamin C is one of our Lifestyle Health Essentials, and part of our daily recommendations. It is an essential, antioxidant vitamin, that needs to be ingested on a regular basis. Vitamin C is our Go-To for any conditions affecting the immune system, as well as for people undergoing periods of high stress. 

As a water-soluble vitamin, we don’t have a good storage system in our bodies for Vitamin C. This means that it needs to form part of our daily intake either through our diet (broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, dark green leafy vegetables, strawberries, red peppers, potatoes and sweet potatoes), or via high quality supplements.

Why Ester-C?
Vitamin C comes in a number of different forms, the most common one being ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid is, by its nature, acidic and can cause stomach upset when ingested. Ester-C is the solution to this problem. Ester-C is the bufferred version of Vitamin C, meaning it is not acidic and generally much better tolerated.
