Methylcobalamin (Methyl B-12) and Methyl Folate are biologically active forms of these vitamins used by the body to support brain and nerve health and function, energy production, cell replication, red blood cell production and sleep-wake cycles.* The human body has a limited capacity to convert synthetic folic acid into reduced, active folate forms and can result in the accumulation of unmetabolized folic acid in the body, which may interfere with natural folate metabolism, with high folic acid intakes.* Unlike folic acid, Methyl Folate does not mask vitamin B12 deficiency and does not have a tolerable upper intake level established.*
