Escentia Peppermint Pure Essential Oil is known for its refreshing and stimulating properties. It is said to aid circulation and treat various digestive upsets. It has also been used to relieve itchiness, repel bugs naturally, reduce nausea, improve skin health, and provide relief from sunburns and pain. It is commonly used in shampoos and conditioners to promote hair growth and reduce dandruff, not to mention that it is heavily utilized in the toothpaste industry. When rubbed onto the temples or inhaled deeply it can be used to aid in congestion and headache relief.
Peppermint is a perennial herb, up to 1 metre high with green stems and leaves. Mentha Piperita is produced from the hybridisation of three other species of Mentha, all natives of Southern Europe. The plants are now cultivated worldwide.

Directions
Place in an oil warmer/burner
Add to unscented bath salts, shampoo or conditioner
Add to a carrier oil to make massage or bath and body oils

For heat exhaustion, simply add 2-3 drops to a cool wet cloth and place behind the neck as well as on the forehead.
A few drops mixed with a carrier oil is safe to massage into the wrists, temples and soles of the feet of small children
You can also make a peppermint spray by mixing 20 drops of Peppermint essential oil in a 125ml water spray bottle
If possible, a soak in a cool peppermint oil bath is a quick and effective way to reduce temperature
