Melaleuca alternifolia is a small tree of about 7m tall with a bushy crown and whitish, papery bark. The flowers occur in white or cream-colored masses about 3–5 cm wide, which gives it a fluffy looking appearance in the spring to early summer months. The plant’s medicinal properties make it a strong virus and bacteria fighter and so it is therefore used to boost the immune system. The oil has a fresh, herbaceous, camphoraceous, green odor.

Directions 

Add 5-6 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water, cover your head with a towel and breathe in the vapour to help with colds and viral infections

Add 4-8 drops to your laundry wash that include diapers and pet blankets
