Each spray of Phytomist™ Vitamin D3 Oral Spray delivers tiny droplets into the soft tissue of the mouth. These droplets are then quickly absorbed because of the high permeability of the tissues within the mouth, together with the proximity of a rich vascular system. This method allows the vitamin to quickly enter the bloodstream for optimal absorption and bypasses the digestive system where many nutrients are not absorbed optimally.    Not many foods naturally contain vitamin D, though some foods are fortified with the vitamin. For most people, the best way to get enough vitamin D is taking a supplement because it is hard to eat enough through food.  Vitamin D3 may contribute to normal cell division and blood calcium levels, the development and maintenance of strong bones, teeth, and muscle function, and to the normal function of the immune system.
